Christus Rex β The Final Separation
I saw the markets tremble
as though struck by a hidden wind.
I saw towers of glass reflect a crimson sky.
I saw merchants weep
when their cargo of gold could not ransom a single soul.
For the hour comes β
as written in the vision of judgment β
when books are opened
and the hidden things of the heart are laid bare.
You have trusted in numbers.
You have worshipped digits glowing in the dark.
You have crowned yourselves with valuations
and called it salvation.
But I tell you:
Mammon is a fragile god.
He devours his own priests.
You polish your symbols,
you engrave stars in silver and stone,
you debate their angles and their symmetry.
Yet there is a star of covenant β
two triangles interlaced:
heaven descending, earth ascending β
a sign of harmony under the Son of David.
And there is the same form,
emptied of mercy,
turned inward upon itself,
a geometry of appetite β
a sign worn by those who bow to gold.
It is not the six points I judge.
It is the heart that animates them.
For in the Last Day
the sky will recede like a scroll,
the sun will darken,
and the kings of the earth will hide among the rocks.
And I will say:
Where were you
when I was hungry?
When I was a stranger?
When I was in chains?
The sheep will not speak of symbols.
They will speak of bread shared quietly.
Of visits made without cameras.
Of mercy practiced when no profit was possible.
The goats will protest:
βDid we not build?
Did we not trade?
Did we not prosper?β
But prosperity without compassion
is a house built on ash.
The separation is not tribal.
It is moral.
Not written in bloodlines,
but in choices.
Every empire that crowned itself eternal
will fall like Babylon.
Every throne built on exploitation
will sink into dust.
But a single act of love
will blaze brighter than collapsing stars.
For true kingship is spiritual.
Its crown cannot be minted.
Its throne cannot be leveraged.
Its seal is mercy.
Choose your master.
For the night is far spent.
The books are nearly opened.
And the Kingdom that cannot be shaken
is already at hand.
